Oliver Newnes
The Oliver
Newnes Memorial Fund has been set up to raise money towards providing
essential medical equipment for
baby units at the Countess of
Chester and Alder Hey
Hospitals.
Our
beautiful son Oliver, just 2½ years of age, was tragically and unexpectedly
taken away from myself, Barbara and family on the 7th October 2007
of a very rare brain abscess which effects 1 in 900,000 children.
His life,
although short, brought so much happiness and pleasure to all his family and
friends that knew him. He was a cheeky, funny and adorable son and because of
this we promised Oliver before he passed away that he would never be
forgotten and that he would always be in our hearts.
We would
not want any parent to have to experience what we as a family have had too,
and hopefully by raising money for the baby units this may save the lives of
other children. If the money raised saves a single child’s life then
Oliver’s short life was not in vain.
We would
like to thank all the efforts, dedication and professionalism of all the
medical staff at both hospitals and also all the kind donations towards the Charities
that we have received from family and friends so far.
Thank you
all so much
Craig,
Barbara, Samuel and Harvey
